Ben began his investment industry career more than 40 years ago and joined Stifel in 2021. His experience as a value investor is an essential tool in helping his clients gain a well-rounded perspective surrounding their financial decisions. Whether it’s stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, commodities/futures, or any other financial instrument, assessing value is crucial in understanding the potential for growth and assessing risk. 

Ben is a resource of financial information – he has been quoted nationally by The Wall Street Journal and for local media. He is a former member of the WRGB (CBS affiliate) financial answer team and has appeared regularly on CBS’s nightly news program to answer questions and address issues in the financial markets. His counsel has been sought out by the business writers of the Albany Times Union, where he has been frequently quoted. Ben also has written numerous articles on the financial markets.

Ben earned a Bachelor of Science from The Whitman School of Business Management at Syracuse University and holds Series 6, 7, 9 & 10, 63, and 65 securities licenses. He lives in Saratoga Springs, New York, with his wife, Deidre, who is an attorney. Together, they have two sons, Maxim and Sachiel, two German Shepherds, Levi and Jolie, and one rescue dog, Bowie.

Outside the office, Ben is an ardent outdoorsman and athlete. He enjoys hiking in the high peaks, running, skiing, practicing martial arts, and playing soccer. Ben continues his family’s 100-plus-year involvement in the Capital District’s business community, including acting as a mentor for Skidmore College and being a supporter of Friends of the Troy Spring, the Regional Food Bank, miSci, and the Double H Ranch.

Danielle joined Stifel in 2021 after more than 20 years in the business industry.  She has an extensive background in finance, real estate, client acquisition, client service, sales, marketing, sales/operational training, and public speaking.  She has also owned and operated a number of businesses, in which she gained the valuable insight and guidance needed to thoroughly understand the priorities of top executives, business owners, retirees, and families.

Danielle holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® designation and Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities). 

Community service is a large part of Danielle’s life.  She is active with the American Cancer Society and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  Danielle also sits on the board of the Saratoga Wilton Youth Baseball league and enjoys coaching youth sports.  Outside the office, she enjoys working out at the gym, playing sports, and spending time with her family and friends.  She currently resides in Saratoga Springs, New York, with her son.
